ACQUIRE A PIECE
Custom pieces often begin with something deeply personal: a name, a date, a number, a word, or a fragment of private language that carries emotional weight. Others emerge through subtle variations on existing works - a different gemstone, a unique proportion, or a one-of-one sculptural piece developed in dialogue with Catherine.
Working in molten 18k yellow gold and sterling silver, Catherine hand-sculpts forms that retain the movement of the material itself. The process embraces irregularity, texture, softness, and the visible presence of the hand, allowing each piece to feel more like a small sculpture than traditional jewelry.
Many commissions explore typography: initials, dates, numbers, or meaningful words cast into tactile gold forms with an almost ancient quality. Some commemorate births, encounters, transformations, or memories. Others remain intentionally private - intimate objects understood fully only by the wearer.
Rather than reproducing identical designs, each custom work evolves organically through dialogue, intuition, and material exploration. The result is jewelry that feels singular, human, and deeply alive: precious objects shaped by memory, gesture, and fire.
