De Cosmi is the jewelry practice of multidisciplinary artist Catherine Servel de Cosmi. Handmade in her atelier in Arles, Catherine sculpts and forges each
carved and molten piece in sterling silver and 18k yellow gold, leaving some as pure sculpural forms and setting others with individually chosen precious and semi-precious stones. These are not conventional jewels, but personal objects: works to be worn, touched, collected, and lived with over time.Catherine's work embraces the irregularity of the hand. Rather than seeking perfect symmetry or polished uniformity, each piece preserves the marks of its making - textures, gestures and subtle variations that give every work its own character. Ancient in spirit yet unmistakably contemporary, these are pieces intended to become part of the life of the person who wears them.
