IS THERE A SPECIAL WAY TO CARE FOR DE COSMI FINE JEWELRY?

Each hand-crafted de Cosmi piece should be worn and well-loved, with care taken due to the natural qualities of the precious and semi-precious metals, stones, pearls, and shells used in our collection. Please see our detailed care instructions here

HOW DOES YOUR SIZING WORK?

Our pieces are considered one size fits all. We are happy to size up or down any necklaces or chain bracelets to be a specific length of your requirement, as well as resize or custom make any of our rings in your size. Please contact us at enquiries@decosmi.com with any sizing or custom requests.

WHAT MAKES HANDMADE JEWELRY DIFFERENT?

Our jewelry is made by hand using a variety of age-old processes. Unlike much of today's jewelry that is made using computer technology, this means that each piece of de Cosmi Fine Jewelry undergoes rigorous work by hand to ensure the most beautifully crafted and aesthetically pleasing result is made available to you. Our sculptural pieces are perfectly imperfect, and you will see traces of masterful hand-craftsmanship in each of them, whether in signs of the tooling used to sculpt and form their elements or in proof of the flame used to solder and connect components together .

CAN I GET A PIECE DE COSMI ALREADY MAKES IN A DIFFERENT METAL OR STONE?

ARE ALL THE MATERIALS USED BY DE COSMI ETHICALLY SOURCED?

Our 18k and 22k Gold as well as our Sterling Silver is responsibly and ethically sourced, and is comprised of recycled precious metals from the United States and precious metals from independently-certified, eco-friendly, and DRC conflict-free mines. The diamonds we use are certified non-conflict in compliance with UN Kimberley regulations. While semi-precious stones have no recognized international standard, we work with the top gem suppliers in the United States to ensure the highest quality stones, in some cases with fully-disclosed provenance, are used. While sourcing raw material of this calibre results in higher costs for de Cosmi, it is important to us that we minimize our ecological footprint while also minimizing any negative impact on peoples within our supply chain. This ultimately ensures your ability to purchase our pieces knowing the maximum of care has been taken to achieve a fine quality result without any compromise.

HOW CAN I GET MY JEWELRY REPAIRED?

DO YOU OFFER COMPLIMENTARY SHIPPING FOR ALL ORDERS?

We offer complimentary shipping for all orders within the continental United States, and charge a minimal shipping cost for all other orders, calculated at checkout.

I'M PURCHASING THIS ITEM AS A GIFT; DO YOU HAVE ANY GIFTING SERVICES?

All de Cosmi pieces are packaged by hand in a handmade jewelry pouch, inside a fine handmade paper box, and they are packaged with shipping in mind to ensure no tangles, breaks, or damage are incurred in the shipping process. We are happy to include a hand-written note and to finish the look of your purchase with an elegant choice of gift wrapping should you wish. You will have the opportunity to enter this information for our review during the shopping cart process, and otherwise please contact us at enquiries@decosmi.com with any special requests so we are able to fulfill them for you.

I'D LIKE TO HAVE MY PURCHASE DELIVERED TO AN ALTERNATE LOCATION; HOW CAN I MODIFY MY ORDER TO REFLECT THIS?

HOW WILL I KNOW WHEN MY ORDER SHIPS?

Most standard orders go out within 1 to 3 business days. You will receive an email from us confirming when your order has shipped.

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

We are happy to offer international shipping which will be calculated during the checkout process.

Once you have finalized your purchase and the order has shipped out, you will receive an email from us confirming the tracking details of the shipment.

HOW DO I INITIATE A RETURN SHIPMENT?

Once you are in possession of a de Cosmi piece you are responsible for it until the return shipment is signed for by the de Cosmi team. To initiate a return shipment, please review our Returns + Exchanges policy here and please contact us at enquiries@decosmi.com so we may communicate together to ensure all is properly arranged.

WILL I BE CHARGED FOR SHIPPING ON A RETURN?

Please note you are responsible for your return shipment. We recommend that you insure your return shipment as you are liable for any damage or loss that occurs prior to our receipt. Further, we recommend that you use a trackable and secure shipping method and that you retain proof of sending, as you are under duty to ensure the item/s are safely returned to us in order to receive your refund or credit for exchange. We are happy to lend to magazines and stylists for editorial, event, and red carpet use. Please contact us at enquiries@decosmi.com to initiate a request and our team will work to arrange this with you. We require a Letter of Responsibility that outlines all the details of your request, and you will be under duty to ensure all pieces are returned to us in their original condition by the agreed-upon return date.
